We’ve had a number of good experiences this past week. The first was the Christmas party for the Women’s Ministry leadership team and spouses. It was a dinner hosted at one of the ladies’ houses and it turned out to be a very encouraging time. It’s a great group of women that we have in leadership over that area who care deeply about the Lord and the women of our church. Another good thing was that we went out Christmas caroling to the homes of our church’s shut-ins. There were 16 of us and it was delightful to see the expressions of joy on the faces of people who don’t get out much and who can’t make it to church. Sometimes it’s just so good when the church can come to them.
