Carr-HThese are busy days around here. The natural gas industry is drilling a total of 18 gas wells on 3 pads, and the traffic on our “country road” has increased tremendously. Every kind of truck goes in & out of our road 24 hours a day. It gets difficult to sleep at times, and the dust is atrocious, but we’re praying for ministry opportunities among those who work in the gas industry. One positive thing has come from all this: they’ve redone our driveway and rolled our parking lot so it’s now smooth. God is awesome in that we got at least $1000 worth of material and work accomplished for free. We also had our first Awana Awards Sunday, and it was a great success. Many parents came and saw their kids get awards for finishing their books and memorizing verses. It was especially nice that two of our Awana teachers planned the whole thing. Our Awana program was a great success this year, and we look forward to next year.  Howard & Nancy Carr
