coxOur Christmas candlelight service, a highlight for our church and community, had 48 attend for a meaningful service. Following the service we had great fellowship, with 45 at the parsonage for an open house. Our daughter-in-law had loaned us her chocolate fountain. The mother of a 7-year-old told me later that her daughter was quite impressed. The mother, a nurse, had been working for 14 hours straight; her daughter came into her bedroom, took her by the shoulders, and shouted, “MOM, THEY HAD A CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN! A CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!” Evidently she may have had too much chocolate!
