As You Pray This Week

boy prayingPlease pray for the District Representative meetings next week. Pray for safety in travel as they come from different parts of the country.  Please pray for wisdom as we are transitioning to several new District Representatives due to retirements. Also pray for wisdom as we discuss implementation of the Contenders Discipleship Initiative as well as make plans to have longer staff conference that involves families in 2015, as part of our training for this Initiative.
Please pray for Tim Griffiths and Brian Wechsler as they have meetings at Contexture Inc. in California regarding our publications and communications.  Please pray for wisdom as we plan the coming year. The President of Contexture, Joe Class, has a long history of involvement with Village Missions.  He once attended our field in Priest Lake, ID and his step-dad was led to Christ by Village Missionary Ben Elliott, who recently went home to be with the Lord.
The next two weeks Mike and Judie Jones will be in Oregon for our annual District Representative meeting and a mini conference at Cannon Beach.  Pray for wisdom as we plan for the future.   Pray for our Oregon and Washington missionaries that will be attending the mini conference February 25-27, that they will have safe travel, but also will be encouraged by their time together. Mike Jones will have a speaking session during that time and ask for your prayers for wisdom in communicating with fellow missionaries.   Pray also for the District Representatives as they conduct final interviews with potential Candidate school applicants. So far we have it looks as though we will have eight new candidates. This year’s school is March 31-April 4.   Please continue to pray for Lennie Adrian’s sister Frieda as she undergoes her second round of chemo. It is a five hour intravenous drip – that’s quite an ordeal. Also pray for Lee and Arlene Stephenson (Progress BC) as they travel to Manitoba to attend Arlene’s dad’s funeral. Arlene’s dad was 87 years old, but his advanced age does not minimize the loss, as his passing was unexpected.
