Executive Director, Brian Wechsler:
Thank you so much for praying for the Canadian Staff Conference. If you like, you can see pictures of the conference by clicking on this link. Our fellowship was sweet!

The first U.S. Staff Conference begins Monday evening June 3 at Mission Springs Conference Center near Santa Cruz, CA. Missionaries will gather primarily from our Southwest District, which covers California, Nevada, Arizona, and our Navajo field in New Mexico. The conference will end Friday morning. Like last year, this year we will be using Village Missionaries as our main speakers. Please pray for Village Missionary Paul Burns who will be bringing God’s Word at this conference. Paul and Glenda, who minister in Burley, WA, have reached 35 years this year with Village Missions. Please pray for Glenda, who is suffering from an undiagnosed intestinal problem. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors at the University of Washington as they seek a diagnosis. Pray for our missionaries as they travel and that they will be refreshed and encouraged. I would also appreciate prayer as I speak twice and also present the “State of the Mission.”

Assistant Director, John Adams: Be in prayer this month for Missionaries attending Staff Conferences.  Pray for encouragement, refreshment and renewed vision for ministry where the Lord has placed them.  Pray that those attending Staff Conference for the first time would immediately feel welcome and form lasting friendships with other Missionaries.

CDI Director, Ron Sallee: Marilyn and I had such a great time with our Canadian missionaries at conference. One couple we had recently visited in BC had their board chairman die suddenly during conference. Walt was their greatest supporter and stand-in-grandpa to their children Olivia & Noah. They drove home at night to be with the church family on Sunday and then came back to conference. It was a blessing that Walt’s Christian walk was dramatically transformed by the CDI and he had just finished the mid-term Bibliology test before he passed. Pray for Joe & Laura, Olivia & Noah as they are missing Walt. Pray for Walt’s wife Linda and the church family at Marysville Community Church.
